A new cookbook lets you in on the culinary secrets of some well-known New Zealand celebrities.

Cooking 4 Change is the brainchild of celebrated New Zealand artist Dick Frizzell, his business partner Christian Kasper and TV host Erin Simpson. They asked a wide range of New Zealand celebrities to share their all-time favourite dishes in order to raise money for longstanding local charities Paw Justice, Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand, Starship Foundation and Auckland City Mission.

What resulted is a diverse selection of recipes and intimate cooking stories from a raft of our favourite personalities who want to make a difference. The recipes and stories are accompanied by sumptuous photography, mostly taken inside each celebrity’s own kitchen.

In true New Zealand style, Cooking 4 Change showcases the amazing results Kiwis can achieve when we all work together and give back to some of our hardest-working charities.

Personalities include: Sir Michael Hill, Sam Neill, Lucy Lawless, Hilary Barry, Valerie Adams, Joseph Parker, Sol3 Mio, Stan Walker, Jono & Ben, Teuila Blakely, Karl Maughan, Hayley Holt, Carol Hirschfeld, Scotty ‘Sumo’ Stevenson, Mary Fisher, Zoë Bell, Leigh Hart, Pippa Wetzell, Nick Von K, Anika Moa, Jon Toogood, Erin Simpson, Tamati Coffey, Rima Te Wiata, Jordan Luck, Jacinda Ardern, Michael Galvin, Grant Smithies, Suzy Cato, Tom Abercrombie, Roger Donaldson, Trelise Cooper, Tiki Taane, Oscar Kightley, Amanda Billing, SKYCITY Breakers, Michele A’Court & Jeremy Elwood, Miriama Kamo, Nathan Haines, Miranda Harcourt, Gin Wigmore, Marc Ellis, Robyn Malcolm, Sir Ray Avery, Kees Meeuws, Shavaughn Ruakere, The Topp Twins, Matiu Walters, Jamaine Ross, Tim Shadbolt, Tammy Wells, Grahame Sydney, Alison Shanks, Vodafone Warriors, Urzila Carlson, Colin Mathura-Jeffree, Karl Urban, Jodi Brown, Anton Oliver, Pete & Lucy Elliot, Laila Harré, Brooke & Amber, Kate Rodger, Aroha Harawira, Kimberley Crossman, Antonia Prebble, Jay Reeve, Don McGlashan, Jacqueline Nairn, Wallace Chapman, Jimmy James Fletcher, Andrew Little, Kerre McIvor, Wellington Phoenix, Eric & Hamish, Gemma Gracewood, Te Radar, James Shaw, Kayla Whitelock, Jeremy Corbett, Robbie Rakete, Hamish Keith, Dean O’Gorman, Sir Bob and Lady Jo Parker, Metiria Turei, Otis Frizzell, John Key, Sara Tetro & Rob Fyfe, Mark Richardson, Pua Magasiva, Dick Frizzell, Taika Waititi, Helen Clark, and Rhys Darby.
