Film director Nadine Labaki met with UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Cate Blanchett at a UNHCR screening of her film Capernaum in London last week.

The film has received an Oscar nomination as Best Foreign Language Film (2019), on top of the Jury Prize at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. Capernaum is set in Beirut and tells the courageous and inspirational story of a 12-year-old boy who sues his parents for bringing him into a world of poverty.
