Celebrity couple Courteney Cox and David Arquette are well known for their charity work, and now the unstoppable team have joined with American jewelry manufacturer Satya to create their own line of butterfly-adorned pieces for charity.

The couple is leading a drive to raise money for children suffering from epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a rare genetic condition that affects the skin, after a friend’s child fell victim to the condition. It’s a cause that both have been involved in for a number of years.

"There is a beautiful child named Brendon, the son of one of our dear friends, Andrea Pett Joseph, who was born with epidermolysis bullosa or EB," Arquette told Vogue. "We were not aware of the condition until it affected us personally but, of course, once we got to know this incredible child we wanted to do whatever we could to help.

"I think becoming a parent redefines your understanding of love and compassion. Beyond spirituality, it is about being a good person and doing what you can to make a difference and make this world a better place. It is important to do positive things in your life."

The Satya EB Charity Collection is available from Satya stores and from the Satya website.
