Joe Jonas got the opportunity to meet royalty for charity on June 16.

He met Prince William in Botswana for a Coaching for Conservation program, a conservation project that mixes soccer skills with wildlife protection. Managed by the Botswana Predator Conservation Trust, the original project wants to teach children about self respect and awareness of the environment.

Jonas was pictured shaking hands and conversing seriously with the prince. Joe said that the meeting wasn’t planned, but it just came together seamlessly.

He said, “Ultimately I was coming here to be with the kids, encourage the kids, and this all came about to be with the Prince.”
