The GLSEN Respect Awards – Los Angeles will take place at the Beverly Hills Hotel this week.

The GLSEN Respect Awards – Los Angeles is an annual gala to recognize the exceptional efforts of individual and corporate leaders who have made a significant difference to ensure schools are safe for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students and their allies.

Five awards will be presented onstage in order of presentation to: Bob and Harvey Weinstein (Chairman’s Award); Adam Fitzgerald and Blake Drummond (Special Recognition); Simon Halls and Matt Bomer (Inspiration Award); Luis Veloz (Student Advocate of the Year); and Marilyn and Jeffrey Katzenberg (Lifetime Achievement Award).
