Josh Groban was busy with a number of fundraising initiatives for his Find Your Light Foundation prior to Christmas.

Groban established the Find Your Light Foundation in 2011 to to enrich the lives of young people through arts, education, and cultural awareness, and the singer believes that early exposure in the arts helps shape young people’s lives.

In late November and early December, the Foundation launched a fundraising auction that brought in $96,181.

“The final amount that the first official auction brought in is staggering and humbling,” commented Josh. “I am so proud of what YOU the fans have been able to accomplish here. And so many young people’s lives and creative spirits will be lifted from the contributions you made. I’m grateful beyond words!”

Also before Christmas, Josh and the Foundation helped Toys for Tots help the thousands of kids who didn’t have presents to wake up to by launching the Grobanite Toy Drive. Over 2600 toys were donated, with the Foundation offering people the chance to donate toys directly from Amazon.com.
