Equality Now is set to host the “Make Equality Reality” event at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills on November 4.

Chaired by Equality Now Board member Gloria Steinem, honoring Joss Whedon, hosted by Paul Reiser, with special guests, Jada Pinkett Smith, Alyson Hannigan and a live performance by two-time Grammy winning singer songwriter, Colbie Caillat. The dinner is chaired by Nina Kotick, Paula Reiser, Sue Smalley, PhD and Erin Stein with additional celebrities, notables and supporters of Equality Now including Maria Bello, Sarah Brokaw, Jane Fonda, Mavis Leno, Lily Tomlin and Daphne Zuniga scheduled to attend the event.

Equality Now was among the first international human rights organizations to focus on the human rights of women and girls through legal advocacy and public grassroots activism across the globe. The night promises to bring together a diverse and dynamic group of change makers, celebrities and philanthropists to honor Joss Whedon for his work on gender equality and to celebrate the work of Equality Now. The event, an intimate evening for 300 guests, will be hosted by Paul Reiser, and will feature a mix of music, film and theater.
