Gwyneth Paltrow is to donate some of her old clothes to a new charity auction.

The 36-year-old actress – married to Chris Martin of Coldplay – is giving a selection of items culled from her wardrobe to the British children’s charity Kids Company for their live auction event next month.

Kids Company provides practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people, in particular those with severe emotional, behavioral and social difficulties, resulting from significant experiences of trauma and neglect. The money from the auction will go directly to provide educational and counseling support to inner-city children and young people.

The live auction will take place at a yet-to-be-announced venue in East London on November 7 and 9.
