Snoop Dogg handed out 1,500 turkeys to people in need in Los Angeles last week.

The rapper joined with Mayor James Butts at The Forum for the second annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway.

“Snoop Dogg took pictures with over 800 people at the event,” Butts said. “We had a tented area for seniors to sit in, and the first thing he did was go over to take pictures with everyone there.”

“This is my second home,” said Snoop. “Inglewood has been good to me from day one and that’s why I love Inglewood, and I just want to let y’all know I’m gonna be doing this every year. I’m sorry I’m late but I giving you some big fat turkeys so y’all can get your eat on for Thanksgiving.”
