will.i.am, front man of the Black Eyed Peas, is ensuring that the band and its fans make an effort to better the environment.

will.i.am is pushing for fans to donate their plastic bottles so that the plastic can be recycled, treated, and then converted into clothing.

He is working with environmental groups like RETHINK Fabrics, Green For All and League of Conservation Voters in an effort to reduce the waste from the Black Eyed Peas’ concerts.

will.i.am says “By not leaving junk you are contributing style, fashion, enabling new fashion designers utilizing this fabric. You see water bottles not as containers that house water, but eventually clothe your body.”
