Pop star and Xtra Factor presenter Olly Murs has become an ambassador for Rays of Sunshine.

Olly is keeping his feet firmly on the ground by supporting Rays of Sunshine and meeting deserving wish children. Most recently Olly took time out of his busy schedule to meet Jack, Jordan and Kelsie, three very special children whose greatest wishes were to meet him. Cheeky Jack in particular got on well with Olly, both pulling funny faces to the camera and telling jokes!

Rays of Sunshine was set up to make wishes come true for terminally and seriously ill children between the ages of 3-18 in the United Kingdom, as well as to buy vitally needed equipment for those children, and to support the hospitals, hospices and specialist schools that care for them, by purchasing equipment and funding capital projects.

“I am very honoured to announce my involvement as Ambassador for Rays of Sunshine,” said Olly. “I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting the amazing wish children they work with and am looking forward to meeting many more!”

Olly will join the charities other ambassadors who include Simon Cowell, Leona Lewis, JLS, One Direction, Gordon Ramsay, Dynamo, Stooshe, Lorraine Pascale and Amanda Lamb.
