Summary

The Reach Out To Asia initiative has a life span of 10 years, from 2005 to 2015, and will employ a variety of strategies to support achieving the goals of the UNESCO Education for All movement, including:
  • Assisting nations develop and fulfill action plans
  • Engaging civil society
  • Training teachers and improving textbooks
  • Providing educational relief and support to areas hit by natural disaster and political upheaval
