In 2009 he joined the IUCN Conservation Centre in Switzerland to track the Grey Wolf in the Jura Mountains, recording an interview with wolf experts about the issues.
Keynes has appeared in a Lonesome George t-shirt to promote the Galapagos Tortoise Project.
