Operation Smile will honor Kate Hudson, Andrew Dolce, and Mediterranean Shipping Company at this year’s 14th Annual Smile Event in New York City.

The evening will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 12th at Cipriani 42nd Street and will help to raise funds and awareness for children around the world suffering from cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities. Longtime Smile ambassador, Brooke Burke-Charvet, will be the master of ceremonies.

Kate Hudson will receive the Universal Smile Award for her dedication to improving the lives of others and setting an example of exceptional leadership. Operation Smile Co-Founders Dr. Bill and Kathy Magee will present Andrew Dolce with the John Connor Humanitarian Award and Mediterranean Shipping Company will receive the children’s medical charity’s Corporate Humanitarian Award.

Guests will celebrate over 240,000 life-changing surgical interventions, and learn about how we are expanding our reach to include permanent cleft care centers, while training and educating local professionals to help us find the patients who are the hardest to reach in the most remote regions.

“We are so excited to celebrate the hard-work of Operation Smile and our supporters. We believe every child deserves exceptional surgical care and that they deserve to be treated as if they were our own,” says Dr. Bill Magee, CEO and Co-Founder of Operation Smile. The evening will include a cocktail reception, premier dinner, live auction, and entertainment followed by an after party with music from DJ Eric Hutchinson.

Fellow supporters and committee members, Nancy H. Arias, Chris Ashley, Jared S.
