The American Cancer Society will honour chef Ming Tsai – restauranteur, TV personality, author – for his work with Family Reach, addressing the financial burden of cancer at their California Spirit 33 Gourmet Garden Party this weekend.
The event will be hosted by Chef Javier Plascencia, author, TV personality known for cuisine of Baja California. Honorary chairs include Sherry Lansing (Paramount Pictures, STOP CANCER, Stand Up 2 Cancer) and Phil Rosenthal (15-time Emmy Award-winning “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “Spanglish,” "I’ll have What Phil’s Having; Netflix Season 1 of Somebody Feed Phil).
Andrew Firestone will preside over the live auction.
Entertainment will be provided by Band From TV – Greg Grunberg, Adrian Pasdar, Jack Coleman and Scott Grimes – and other expected guests include Sophia Bush and Samantha Harris.
