Comedian/actress Amy Poehler is set to host of The 5th Annual Worldwide Orphans California Benefit Reception benefiting the Worldwide Orphans Foundation, dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned children.

The Benefit Reception, with WWO Founder Dr. Jane Aronson, will be held Thursday, March 18th, 2010 at the Viceroy Santa Monica Hotel. Tickets are only $150 per person and can be purchased here or by calling Kathy Geiser at (973) 763-9961.

The WWO has an A-list of supporters including honorary host committee members: Daniel Craig, Hugh Jackman, Mariska Hargitay, Mary-Louise Parker, 
Christy Turlington, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber, to name just a few.

Poehler, who was named one of Glamour Magazines Women of the Year for 2009, also supports Rosie's Place, which provides housing and long-term assistance to poor and homeless women in Boston. Learn more at rosies.org.
