Wyclef Jean will join his sister, Melky Jean, at a special charity event to raise money for Haiti through Melky’s charity, the Carma Foundation, next month.

Hosted by Vivica Fox, the 3rd annual Geminis Give Back event will feature performances by Wyclef and Melky, as well as Patti LaBelle.

Inspired by her brother, Melky set up the Carma Foundation to improve the health of poor women and children in Haiti.

The event will take place in New York on June 13, and more info can be found here.

Rapper Trina has also teamed up with Melky’s foundation to create a range of cosmetics to raise charity money for Haiti.

“With Amazin’ Cosmetics, I wanted to create a brand for today’s young woman that’s stylish and sexy yet affordable and accessible,” Trina told AllHipHop.com. "I’m also thrilled to join forces with the Carma Foundation… I always strive to help various communities, especially with organizations that help children and young teenagers and the Carma Foundation is remarkable in their efforts to assist orphans affected by Haiti’s’ earthquake.

“Young women can not only look incredible when purchasing Amazin’ Cosmetics, but [they] can also contribute to a great cause at the same time.”
