PETA and Bob Barker welcomed a host of stars at the grand opening of PETA’s new Bob Barker Building, named in honor of the longtime animal advocate who donated $2.5 million for the renovation of the historic structure in Los Angeles yesterday.

Among those attending were Angela Simmons, Carrie Ann Inaba, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Owain Yeoman, John Salley, Christian Serratos and Grammy, Golden Globe, and Emmy Award–winning songwriter Diane Warren.

“It’s an unbeatable combination: Bob Barker, L.A., and animal rights!” says PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk. “We are excited to open PETA’s West Coast headquarters and add ‘animal rights epicenter’ to the description of this entertainment capital.”

Featuring a renovated art deco façade, a rebuilt public sidewalk, eco-friendly cork floors, and preparations for rooftop solar panels, the all-vegan (and dog-friendly!) Bob Barker Building is home to PETA’s media, marketing, youth outreach, and campaigns departments.
