Leukaemia CARE

Leukaemia CARE registered with the Charity Commission on 11th September 1969 and has grown to become a national charity working with a professional and caring team of employees, trustees and volunteers.

Leukaemia CARE exists to provide vital care and support to all those whose lives have been affected by blood or lymphatic cancer.

Services offered include a 24-hour CARE Line, Support groups, Patient and carer conferences, One-to-one phone buddy support, Information and booklets, Financial assistance, in some circumstances, and Online support service – Livechat.

How you can help

There are many ways to get involved. You can make a donation, volunteer, create your own fundraiser or even visit their shop!

Where your money goes…
£2 could pay for one journey magazine for a patient, a source of inspiration and support.
£12 can provide one Patient Journal to one patient – this is a vital source of information and support.
£40 could pay for a delegate to attend a conference, where they can meet others affected by leukaemia and learn more about leukaemia and other lymphatic cancers.
£50 could pay for 25 patients to receive our Journey magazine, full of inspirational stories.
£80 could get a volunteer trained up at head office, to help us maintain our support.
£100 could cover one support group for a month for venue and refreshments – this is an important way for those affected by leukaemia to help each other.
£300 helps fund a CARE line person per week, our Freephone 24/7 support line.
