A bunch of stars have sent the ASPCA 150th birthday greetings.
The celebrities – including Cindy Crawford, Alec Baldwin, Christian Siriano, Jason Schwartzman, Irina Shayk, Lance Bass, Jennifer Coolidge, Martha Stewart, Edie Falco, and many more – have sent videos to the organization in recognition of the milestone.
As part of the ASPCA’s 150th birthday, the organization is running the 150 Days of Rescue campaign, a nationwide initiative in which animal lovers are encouraged to visit www.ASPCA150.org and pledge their time to help animals in need, with the goal of reaching 150,000 actions for animals in 150 days (the 150 Days began on April 10 and ends soon on September 7).
Ways to participate include volunteering at a local shelter, donating, fostering, adopting a shelter pet, etc. Animal lovers who log their good deed are given the opportunity to nominate their favorite animal shelter to receive a grant prize of $150,000!
