Mark Hamill's Charity Work, Events and Causes

Charity biography

Hamill has supported the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon, and donated his fee for appearing at Dark Horse Comic Con to help fund the hospital’s new construction. Mark has visited the patients at the hospital on a number of occasions.

Mark and his family are involved with Children Helping Poor and Homeless Children. They have helped with the collection of items for fundraisers and appearances at events. Mark asks that his fans donate to this charity on his birthday in lieu of cards.

His meet and greet sessions for the Make-A-Wish Foundation have raised enough money to grant the wishes of several seriously ill children.
