In northern Uganda, tens of thousands of children have been abducted and forced to serve as soldiers in a brutal civil war. Hope North was created to spread peace through education in a region that has been ripped apart by this conflict.

Hope North offers a boarding school on a 40-acre campus in norther Uganda where escaped child soldiers and orphans can find a home. Students rebuild their lives in this safe and vibrant cultural setting through education and vocational training.

This gala event aims to raise the necessary funds to cover Hope North’s annual operating budget for one year, set up new dormitories and running water for all facilities, broaden the school’s arts programming and much more.

The former child soldiers and other young victims of war who are learning and recovering at Hope North rely on this support.

In addition to the live event, an online auction will be powered by Charitybuzz. The auction will run through the weeks before and after the gala, from September 10-October 3, at charitybuzz.com/hopenorth. Supporters will have the opportunity to place bids for incredible donated experiential items, from a private performance in your home by one of the musical guests, to lunch and golf with a celebrity. There will also be physical items such as autographed guitars and tickets to movie premiers.

Tickets to the event can be purchased at HopeNorthGala.Eventbrite.com.
