Richard Linklater is a film director and screenwriter best known for films such as Dazed and Confused (1993), Before Sunrise (1995), Before Sunset (2004) and Before Midnight (2013); School of Rock (2003), A Scanner Darkly (2006), and Boyhood (2014), for which he won the Golden Globe for Best Director and Best Motion Picture in 2014.
He has been a vegetarian for 30 years and supports PETA.
