It’s the 7th year of the Small Steps Project Celebrity Shoe Auction, and all around the world Celebrities are taking a small step by donating their signed shoes to help support barefoot children living on landfill sites.

Celebrity donors include: Chris Martin, Coldplay, Oprah Winfrey, Jessica Alba, Jonny Wilkinson, Leo Messi, Annie Lennox, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Chris Hemsworth, Brian May, Melanie C, Dita Von Teese, Emma Watson, Bonnie Wright, Hozier, James Purefoy, Kate Moss, Matt Le Blanc, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Paul Smith, Ricky Gervais, Rita Ora, Rod Stewart, Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova, Simon Pegg, Ronnie Wood & Vivienne Westwood.

“It is a difficult time for so many people, not only are thousands of children still living on landfill sites in 2016,” the Small Steps Project says in a statement. “Even on our own doorstep, we have thousands of refugees, many of whom have fled from war and have been living in The Calais Jungle – a former landfill site- in as subhuman conditions as the dumps we work on. The shoe auction is a way we can balance the world a bit, celebrities who might have more than they need can donate their shoes and use their profile to raise awareness for those less fortunate. The public can buy items which will raise funds for children on our dump projects.”
