Chris Brown is an American R&B singer.

Chris Brown’s brutal treatment of Rihanna put him in the glare of the spotlight, making him the public face of domestic violence.

Since then he has taken steps to become a stronger, more responsible person, trying to make amends for his past, and promising himself and the watching world never to turn his loved ones into victims again.

Brown wants to use his experiences to raise awareness for the countless people who are victims of their loved ones every day, people abused in the privacy of their own homes, with no public outcry to help them gain the strength and support they need to escape their situations.

He now funds programs to educate youth on issues of domestic and dating violence, hoping to help them avoid or break free from these horrific relationships. He runs his own not-for-profit, Symphonic Love, to teach kids what he has learned the hard way.
