Cedric was taught by his mother to “Go Forth and Do Great Things”, and therefore created the Cedric "The Entertainer" Charitable Foundation to help young people achieve their dreams.

Cedric received the 2008 HollyRod Humanitarian Award from The HollyRod Foundation.
