46664 and the Nelson Mandela Foundation announced this week that a number of extra VIP tickets are available for the Mandela Day concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York. The concert forms part of the celebrations for Nelson Mandela's 91st birthday on July 18, 2009 at 8pm.

Mandela Day serves as a global call for people to recognize their individual power to help change the world for the better.

The concert will feature performances by Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Josh Groban, Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah, Wyclef Jean and many more. Special guests include Whoopi Goldberg, Forest Whitaker, Morgan Freeman, Matt Damon and Susan Sarandon.

The concert is the culmination of a week-long series of events in New York to celebrate Mr Mandela’s life. Activities include a gala fundraising dinner and a Ralph Appelbaum-designed installation of Mr Mandela’s life and the work of his many 46664 ambassadors.
Both events take place at Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall.

Tickets are limited and on sale now. Prices range from $95 to $250 and can be bought online from Ticket Master, Live Nation and The Garden, or by calling 800-745-3000.
