The Small Steps Project will launch its 6th annual Celebrity Shoes Auction on November 1, raising funds to provide shoes, emergency aid and sustainable solutions for children surviving on rubbish dumps.

Former Celebrity Reporter, Amy Hanson, founded the charity after she visited a rubbish dump in Cambodia. She was so shocked seeing thousands of barefoot children, scavenging through toxic waste for survival, that she quit her job and asked every celebrity she had interviewed to donate their shoes for auction, so she could provide shoes to children living on landfill.

Today the charity provides nurseries, neonatal, medical, education, hygiene, nutrition and outreach projects for children in Romania, Cambodia and Laos. Thanks to the incredible support of celebrities the charity not only protects children’s feet but supports them in taking small steps off the dump and out of poverty.

This year over 100 celebrities have taken a small step including: Alistair Brownlee, Adam Levine, Andrew Garfield, Annie Lennox, Art Garfunkel, Avicii, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benicio del Toro, Beyonce, Bill Nighy, Bonnie Wright, Brian May, Bryan Ferry, Cate Blanchett, Charles Dance, Cher Lloyd, Chris Hemsworth, Christina Aguilera, Christina Hendricks, Clive Owen, Colin Firth, Daniel Radcliffe, Danny O’Donoghue, Darcey Bussell, De La Soul, Didier Drogba, Dita Von Teese, Ed Miliband, Elsie, Eminem, Emma Watson, Eric Idle, Eva Longoria, Fergie, Florence Welch, Free Like Me, Garbine Muguruza, George Clinton, Gwen Stefani, Helena Bonham Carter, Helena Christensen, Hozier, Iain Glen, Isla Fisher, Iwan Rheon, James Purefoy, Jess Glynne, Jessie J, Joan Smalls, John Travolta, Jonathan Brownlee, Kate Moss, Kate Nash, Kenny Rogers, Kevin Spacey, La Roux, Leanne Rhymes, Liam Gallagher, Lily Allen, Lindsay Lohan, Lionel Richie, Maisie Williams, Maria Sharapova, Mark Owen, Matt Le Blanc, Meg Mathews, Melissa Rauch, Michael Caine, Michael K Williams, Michelle Keegan, Nick Cave, Nico Hulkenberg, Norman Reedus, Oliver Proudlock, One Direction, Ozzy Osbourne, Paloma Faith, Patti Smith, Paul Smith, Peter Egan, Pink, Rachel McAdams, Ralph Fiennes, Richard Branson, Ricky Gervais, Rita Ora, Rod Stewart, Roger Federer, Rupert Grint, Russell Crowe, Sacha Baron Cohen, Serena Williams, Sir Tom Jones, Simon Pegg, Sol Campbell, Steve McQueen, Suede, The Waterboys, Thiago Alcantara, Tom Hiddleston and Vivienne Westwood.
