Willie Nelson

Nelson has been an active voice in the drive to ban the slaughter of wild horses, and has written to congress in support of the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act.

Willie is founder and president of Farm Aid. His proceeds from Ben and Jerry’s “Willie Nelson’s Country Peach Cobbler Ice Cream” will be donated to the charity.

Nelson started The Willie Nelson Biodiesel Co., which produces BioWillie biodiesel in an effort to help clean up the environment.

Willie is an Honorary Trustee of the Dayton International Peace Museum.
