Jesse McCartney Charity Work, Events and Causes

Jesse McCartney is both a musician and voice actor. He broke into showbusiness with American series All My Children, when he voiced the character JR Chandler. His music career began in 1999 and continues into the present day.

In 2005, McCartney participated in the charity single ‘Come Together Now’ which was to benefit relief efforts for the 2004 asian tsunami and 2005’s hurricane Katrina. He also became a supporter of Little Kids Rock later that year when he visited some of the classes run by the charity. He then became an honorary board member of the charity.

He has donated proceeds from his 2007 tour to disaster relief and is a vocal supporter of the ‘Kids For A Drug Free America’ campaign. He is also involved in the charity SPACE.
