One of the nation’s premier charity events, Celebrity Fight Night, has announced that this year Halle Berry will be honored while multi-platinum recording artist Matchbox Twenty will open the musical portion of the evening.

This annual star-studded gala presented in honor of featured guest, Muhammad Ali, will be held on Saturday, March 19th at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Ariz.

In addition to Matchbox Twenty, there will be performances from Grammy Award-winning vocalist Kelly Clarkson, Legendary country singer, Lee Greenwood, the Top 12 American Idol 2011 finalists as well as Bret Michaels.

Emceeing the event for her sixth time will be Grammy Award-winning Reba McEntire, while 15-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer, David Foster will serve as musical director for his 12th consecutive year.

Billy Crystal, known for his comedy and leading movie roles and stand-up comedian Sinbad will also be on stage.

Kevin Costner and his band Modern West will provide the after-party entertainment.

Also attending the event will be this year’s recipients of the Muhammad Ali Celebrity Fight Night awards: Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry , Founder and CEO of GoDaddy Bob Parsons, former NBA and NFL owner Red McCombs and No. 1 ranked LPGA Champion Cristie Kerr.

Over the past 16 years, Celebrity Fight Night has raised nearly $65 million for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center and other charities. Celebrities and professional athletes from across the U.S. join Muhammad Ali each year for this action-packed night filled with live auction items and musical performances by today’s brightest stars.

Previous guests includeJon Bon Jovi, Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, Donald Trump, Céline Dion, Faith Hill, Whitney Houston, Randy Jackson, Sharon Stone, Rod Stewart, Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Diana Ross, John Mellencamp, Lionel Richie, Chris Tucker, Forest Whitaker, Larry King, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jack Nicklaus and many more.
