Member of the Board of Trustees of United Way.

George is a UN Messenger of Peace and co-founder of Not On Our Watch. He dedicates much of his time and energy to stopping the atrocities occurring in Darfur.

George donated $25,000 to writers during the 2007 strike.

Clooney took part in the America: A Tribute to Heroes charity telethon for victims of 9/11.
