Charity biography

David was honoured with the United States Children’s Choice Award in 1997 For his work supporting research into children’s cancer, leukemia, and AIDS.

Foster and his wife, Linda Thompson, wrote the song “Voices That Care” which they donated to the American Red Cross and the United Service Organization (USO).

He founded the David Foster Foundation in 1986.
